EXCLUSIVE: Jake Lacy (Apples Never Fall) and Nazanin Boniadi (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) have
wrapped production on A Mosquito in the Ear, a new ﬁlm marking the feature debut of BAFTA Newcomer Nicola
Rinciari.

Also starring Ruhi Pal, the ﬁlm was shot in partnership with Lasutra Pictures, a division of YOYOGOA
Communications PVT LTD helmed by Laurens Postma (Exitz, The Interview: Night of 26/11) and Sunitha Ram
(The Archies, After the Wedding), as well as 3DMC, Ratan Films, Whiskey Stream, Greenmachine Films, 5x Media,
Foothill Productions, Steak & Rosè, and Wooden Trailer Productions. Producers on the project include Emily
Dillard, Darren Dean (The Florida Project, Tangerine), Ali K. Rizvi (Skin, Human Capital), Frank Hall Green (Gonzo
Girl, Wildlike) and Stephen Stanley (What Lies Below, They Live in the Grey). Boniadi and Lacy served as executive producers.

Crafted with passion and dedication, we bagan this journey in early 2021, fueled by dreams and heartfelt discussions centered around the vision of bringing to life a meticulously curated, nostalgically enchanting musical world. It is with immense pride that I assume the role of Executive Producer for Zoya Akhtar and Netflix's production of The Archies. This venture not only celebrates the beauty of nature but also marks a pioneering effort to create an environmentally conscious production of this magnitude.

In 2023, producing the prestigious DIOR India campaign for North 6 & Ransom films was a remarkable endeavour. Sunitha Ram served as the Executive Producer for the Video & Stills campaign in Udaipur & Jaipur providing full-scale production services in Rajasthan, working closely with the Producers from North 6.

Filmed in Rajasthan, Bombay & Goa, Sunitha Ram served as the Executive Producer for Dahaad. a Web series created for Amazon Prime. Directed by the acclaimed Reema Kagti & Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar, Excel Entrainment Dahaad was the first Indian Series to Premier at Berlinale in 2023.

Our Story

Experience is the magic of 'LaSutra' Pictures, a Mumbai-based production service company helmed by Laurens Postma and Sunitha Ram. With a wealth of expertise, they have produced top-tier work. Their synergy was born on the set of "American Daylight," an Indo-American feature film in the early 2000s. Notable jobs include “After the Wedding” feature, DIOR Rajasthan Campaign 2023 for North 6 Paris, “Exitz” a feature directed by Laurens, “Dahaad” a series for Amazon Prime.

Laurens Cornelis Postma is a versatile INTERNATIONAL FILMMAKER OF DUCH ORIGIN known for his work as a director, producer, theatre director, author, and actor. He has HAD a prominent presence in India and the UK for a long time, and is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Laurens has collaborated with notable actors like David Cronenberg, Malcolm McDowell, Perizad, and Jackie Shroff. He has directed films such as "Exitz" and "Interview," working with talents Lucky Aly and Apache INDIAN. Laurens created the Facebook series "Tech Probe," featuring Danish Sait, and founded 'YoYo Films' in 1996, known for high-quality TV programs and films. He also served as the Senior Vice President Production for Kaleidoscope Film Entertainment Ltd, producing films including 'Maqbool,' 'American Daylight,' and 'The Rising' with Aamir Khan.

She spent her formative years as Producer with Prahlad Kakar at Genesis Films, Bombay.
